Dynamic Drilling (Aust) Pty Ltd commenced as J.D. Drilling Services in 1979 with two basic drill rigs and a contract for Coal Exploration.

With development of innovative and cost saving procedures the Company was soon in demand. Over the next 30 years, the fleet grew to 15 Rigs and moved into other drilling fields. During almost all this period at least one Rig was devoted to drilling Water Bores. Work varied from house bores in the local towns to Stock and Irrigation Bores covering the Darling Downs and surrounding areas.

In 2009 the company name changed to Dynamic Drilling. Due to the cessation of Coal Exploration and Gas companies being sold off to overseas interests it was decided to downsize and specialize.

The Company now has 4 Rigs specifically set up for specific tasks:

Rig 17 – Bourne 2000THD trailer mounted rig fully equipped to drill deep bores to 1400m.

Rig 16 – Revathi 650THD truck mounted rig equipped to drill bores to 500m as well as decommissioning old bores and exploration drilling if required.

Rig 12 – Bourne 500 L THD truck mounted rig equipped to drill Large diameter shallow holes for Anode protection of pipelines

Rig 1 – Portadrill Rotary Table Rig equipped to drill water bores to 450m

All equipment is supported by water trucks, Air Compressors and drill pipe trailers.

A 5 man camp is available for remote work.

There are 3 prime movers and trailers available to move consumables and other equipment to and from drill locations.

All supported by a comprehensive workshop and mobile mechanic.
